It's goin to be a very busy next few weeks, it's goin' to be a fun project to do.
Apparently there artist couldn't make the time to complete the pages needed, one of there editor's contacted me to help them out.....of coarse i said yes!....it's one of there main stories in the book........now I have other projects on my table...plus the good ol' day job!.....but I'll reach there deadline!...the book come out in sring 2009...

some peices i'm workin' on....a Dark Superman...I got the idea from the ol'cartoon the Super Friends...there was an episode where Superman traveled to another dimension where the Super Friends are evil...as a kid the evil Superman looked pretty cool!!
the White Queen is a piece i did as a commission, i figured to do up a colour version and make the FANBOYS! ....happy happy, joy joy!!!

The Fan Expo.....

Myself and the SPENT PENCIL CREW.....had another AWESOME year at the FANEXPO 08.....whats great about an event like this is you get to interact with the FANS,making new friends and meeting ol'friends......newho I like to thank those who dropped by and gave there support...could'nt make with out ya!!

FAN EXPO 2008 AUG.22nd to 24th......SPC IS GOIN' TO BE THERE!!!

so this friday is the FAN EXPO!....third largest comic convention in north america, first one be the COMIC-CON in San diego....whats good about the fanexpo it's a mix of comics, sci-fi, horror, anime and gaming......it's a great atmosphere, everyone is there for a good time!.....well myself and SPC ( spent pencils comics ) are goin' to be attending all three days, show casing are ART!....so hope to see you there!!

The Scorpion King 2 movie which will be coming out this Tuesday August 19th. I'm looking so foward to seeing this movie, for only one reason..... "Karen David"...who play's Layla in the film......I actually got to meet her at The Polaris 22 convention last June....she is a really cool person!! ....very talented..... a singer!, a actress!......and she loves Tim Hortons coffee......oh so beautiful!!

I can not wait for this movie...I got a chance to glismp the new trailer, which was on YOUTUBE....but it seems they took it out now, due to the fact it was shot by a camera phone....damn thous pirates..... thou the quality was CRAP....my jaw dropped!!....really hard to explain it, hopefully i'll link it to here for you to enjoy!!!....DAMN I have to wait until may 1st for the movie to come out!!

" EQUILIBRIUM " Fight Scenes Set to the music of Linkin Park - Faint

Here is another movie that Christian Bale did back in 2003...Equilibrium....his performance was excellance as usual,not to give to much away...but I love the scene where he hear's music for the first time....when you see it, you'll know what I mean... but the fight scenes are CRAZY!!!......in the movie the fighting style is called GUN-KATA, the next evolution of martial arts....sounds funny but looks cool!!

Supergirl- My version of Laura Vandervoort as The Girl of Steel!

This coming convention the FanExpo 08....there are goion' to alot of special guest's and one of them is Laura Vandervoort....who play's Supergirl on Smallville.....so I figure I'll draw up Superman's lil'cousin Kara!...maybe get a Fanboy to get it signed......and no matter how you see it,that Fanboys is goin' to be very very happy camper!....Excelsior!

I think watching the The Dark Knight movie, I had to do a art peice....funny thing i was just playin' around on the computer, didn't think it would end up lookin' the way did.....sometimes I suprise myself!

The Dark Knight on IMAX

I had to see the movie again....and still AWESOME!!!....but this time on IMAX....really ,really amazing!!....the screen is HUGE, kinda sucked if you end seeing it up front, which pretty much what happened....that's what you get for showing up a bit late for the line up.....besides that I still enjoyed the movie!

this piece here i'll be doing a colour version, the drawing is one of my favorite artworks, I did this drawing for a friend and he wanted Loki sitting on a throne....there a few drawings of Loki sitting on a chair, and i wanted to do something different.....at first i was thinking skeletons, then dead bodie's, seem more for mephisto....then the Avengers came to mind......there first villian was Loki God of Mischief!!!!

just saw THE DARK KNIGHT....and DAMN!!...the movie was awesome!.....I've really enjoyed Heath Ledger's movies.....from A KNIGHTS TALE ( my fav )...THE ORDER to THE FOUR FEATHER'S...but his potral of THE JOKER was truly amazing!!....
